The Thermo-Ash decking board with tongue and groove on the front is the high-quality solution for demanding outdoor areas. Thanks to the precisely crafted tongue and groove system on the front, the boards can be laid seamlessly lengthwise, creating a harmonious, seemingly endless deck surface without visible longitudinal joints. The wood used for the decking is European ash, which is refined using a complex thermal treatment. This process not only creates the characteristic dark brown color but also makes the wood significantly more resistant to pest infestation and mold growth.

Thermo-treated ash is currently considered the highest-quality alternative to tropical hardwoods. It combines sustainability with outstanding technical properties. The boards are characterized by medium hardness and are easy to work with standard tools. With a bulk density of approximately 550 kilograms per cubic meter, the wood offers a balanced strength-to-weight ratio. The thermal treatment significantly reduces the swelling and shrinkage of the wood. However, a joint width of at least 4 millimeters should be maintained during installation to allow sufficient space for natural movement of the wood.

During installation, we recommend pre-drilling all fastening points. This prevents the screws from stripping or loosening and reduces the risk of stress cracks in the wood.
