Oak standard KD grooved decking board 25 × 140 mm – special offer

Oak Standard KD grooved – Decking board 25 × 140 mm | Special offer short lengths

Our oak decking boards in the special offer category offer the same natural elegance and rustic appeal as our standard products – now available in a practical short length of 0.5 m. Ideal for smaller areas, repairs, platforms, steps, balconies, or creative outdoor design ideas.

Crafted from domestic oak, these boards impress with a vibrant wood appearance featuring distinctive grain, prominent knots, and natural color variations. Small cracks and fine unevenness are typical for the wood and emphasize the authentic character of each individual board.

Robust, durable, and dimensionally stable

Thanks to kiln drying (KD), these oak boards are exceptionally dimensionally stable and perfectly suited for outdoor use. The light leather-brown heartwood with reddish nuances develops a refined silver-grey patina when exposed to the elements. Those who wish to preserve the original color can protect the surface with a pigmented decking oil.

Natural look – ideal for flexible applications

The grooved surface provides good grip and makes these short lengths versatile in their application. Knotty sections, color variations, and natural cracks are intentional and lend the wood its vibrant, rustic charm. For a long service life, professional sub-structure installation and sufficient ventilation are crucial, as oak can be sensitive to waterlogging.

Important installation instructions

Oak contains tannic acid, which can cause dark staining when in contact with ferrous metals. Therefore, use only stainless steel fasteners (A4). Leaching of natural wood components during rain is a natural process and does not constitute a quality defect.
