With its warm brown tone, vibrant grain, and grooved surface, this Ipê decking board gives your terrace a calm and high-quality appearance. The uniform longitudinal grooves subtly structure the surface and emphasize the direction of installation without overshadowing the natural effect of the wood.

The grooved profile combines clean lines with the natural color patterns of Ipê. Grain and color nuances remain clearly visible, giving every terrace an individual appearance. Without pigmented maintenance, the natural brown tone will gradually change to a silver-grey patina due to sun and weathering.

Hard and durable

Ipê decking boards are characterized by their high hardness and natural durability. The wood is classified as durability class 1–2 and is suitable for long-term use on terraces when professionally installed.

• High surface hardness: With a Brinell hardness of 48–60 N/mm², Ipê is resistant to mechanical stress.
• Kiln-dried: Our professional kiln drying to approximately 16–18% wood moisture reduces the risk of significant deformation after installation. However, due to changing weather conditions outdoors, natural dimensional changes and cracking can never be completely ruled out.

Installation instructions

For a permanently good result, professional substructure, sufficient rear ventilation, and unobstructed water drainage are particularly important.

• Joint spacing: For terraces directly exposed to weather, a gap of 7 mm should generally be provided. For areas not directly exposed to weather, the distance can be reduced to at least 4 mm.
• Tools and fastening: Due to the high hardness of Ipê, ensure that suitable tools are used. We generally recommend pre-drilling and countersinking the screw holes.
