Bona Professional Mega Matte Finish – Versatile 1-component lacquer with high resistance

Bona Professional Mega Matte is a versatile, waterborne 1-component lacquer with excellent chemical resistance. Specially developed for sealing high-traffic parquet and wooden floors, this lacquer provides a robust and durable protective layer with a natural, matte finish.

The innovative formula is based on a fatty acid-modified polyurethane dispersion and cures oxidatively through oxygen absorption from the air, entirely without the need for an additional hardener. This allows Bona Mega to combine the easy application of a 1-component lacquer with the high-performance properties of a 2-component parquet lacquer.

Bona Professional Mega is tested according to DIN 53160 (sweat and saliva resistant) and meets the limit values according to EN 71-3 regarding migration behavior – making it suitable for use in environments where high safety standards apply, such as in households with children.

The coverage is 8–10 m² per liter, and the drying time between coats is approximately 2–3 hours, allowing for fast and efficient application.
