Product Description
This ash wood cutting board is crafted with great care at our facility in Strullendorf. The natural coloring and vibrant grain of the ash wood vary from piece to piece, giving each board an individual appearance.
Wood from the Spessart region and in-house processing
We use ash wood from the Spessart region for our cutting boards. The round timber is cut in our own sawmill in Strullendorf and subsequently processed at the same location – from the log to the finished cutting board.
After cutting, the lumber is air-dried for at least six months. This is followed by final drying using heat, which we generate partly from our own wood scraps from production.
Handcrafted in our workshop
Every cutting board is handmade in our workshop. With experience and meticulous workmanship, we create an individual board that can be used for cutting as well as serving and presenting in everyday kitchen life.
Why ash wood?
Ash wood is characterized by its strength and elasticity, providing excellent qualities for crafting into cutting and serving boards. The light color and the vibrant grain of the wood are also characteristic features.
