Thanks to kiln-drying (KD), the boards are particularly dimensionally stable and perfectly suited for outdoor use. The light leather-brown heartwood with reddish hues develops an elegant silver-grey patina when exposed to weather, but can be protected with pigmented deck oil to maintain the original color tone.

Knotty areas and natural cracks are deliberately chosen design elements that emphasize the lively surface. However, for high durability, a professional substructure and regular maintenance are crucial, as oak is sensitive to waterlogging or permanent moisture.

Safe use and installation instructions

Oak contains tannic acid, which can lead to discoloration upon contact with ferrous metals. Therefore, use only stainless steel fasteners (A4). Bleeding of natural ingredients in the rain is a natural process and does not affect the quality.
