Bona Professional Mega Extra Matt Coating – Versatile 1-Component Finish with High Durability

Bona Professional Mega Extra Matt is a versatile, water-based 1-component finish characterized by its excellent chemical resistance and durability against wear. Specially developed for high-traffic parquet and wooden floors, this finish provides a long-lasting, robust protective layer with a modern, extra-matte appearance.

Its innovative formula is based on a fatty acid-modified polyurethane dispersion and cures oxidatively through oxygen absorption from the air, without the need for an additional hardener. As a result, Bona Mega offers properties comparable to a classic 2-component parquet finish while maintaining the easy application of a 1-component product.

The finish is tested according to DIN 53160 (sweat and saliva resistant) and meets the limit values of EN 71-3 regarding migration – making it safe for use in areas where compliance with children's toy safety standards is required.

With a coverage of 8–10 m² per liter, Bona Mega offers high efficiency. The drying time between coats is approximately 2–3 hours, allowing for efficient application.
